Anytime Online Funds Transfer

What Is This Service?

Univest's Anytime Online Funds Transfer tool allows you to move money between your Univest and non-Univest bank accounts completely online. You can move money into Univest bank accounts and move money out of Univest bank accounts. There is no mailing of checks or cash, and no visit to a bank branch is required. Banks often call this electronic ability to move funds "interbank funds transfer". The funds transfers are done by an electronic technology called Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions. ACH is managed by the Federal Reserve Bank of the United States of America. There are strict rules that govern ACH in order to assure its safety and accuracy. The Anytime Online Funds Transfer service is managed via on our corporate web site, www.univest.net.

How Do I Get Started?

If you fund a new Univest online bank account from another bank account (e.g., a non-Univest bank account), you will be automatically enrolled in the Anytime Online Funds Transfer tool. Your new Univest account and the non-Univest funding bank account will be automatically enrolled. If you want to add another non-Univest bank account after your new Univest account is opened, or if your new online account is funded by check or another Univest bank account, you can update your Anytime Online Funds Transfer enrollment. When you add or modify your non-Univest account information, Univest will send two small amounts of money known as "micro-deposits" to your newly enrolled non-Univest account. You will be prompted by e-mail to log-in to your Anytime Online Funds Transfer account and enter those micro-deposit amounts. The micro-deposits usually arrive in your non-Univest account(s) by the close of the next business day. The micro-deposit process verifies for Univest that you own the non-Univest account because you are able to access the micro-deposit amounts sent to the non-Univest bank account. You may enroll up to three Univest and three non-Univest bank accounts. The relevant links are below.

How Do I Transfer Funds?

Once your Univest and non-Univest accounts are enrolled, you are ready to start transferring funds. Just log-in, and enter the amount you want to transfer, the source bank account, the target bank account, the date for the transfer to be executed, and agree to the terms. You can even specify a transfer to be a recurring event. Recurring transfers are very useful for disciplined saving. Relevant links are below.
